Ned

I feel like there has never been a better time to look outside of ourselves, our small world to try and seek a little more tolerance and understanding. Positive change is more often than not created through the support of a strong and vibrant community, and prospers in the absence of ego. We need this.

When I first met Ned and his family whilst volunteering for the North Coast Branch of Disabled Surfing Australia back in 2019, it was a humbling experience, a lesson in perspective and an appreciation that remains with me today.

The lingering feeling of joy and happiness after volunteering for the group changed me. A no frills, grass roots organisation thats sole (soul) purpose is to distribute large quantities of salt water stoke to those that can't so easily access it.

I created this video by way of a small gesture to DSA, a beautifully simple organisation, to give thanks, make noise and encourage others to participate.

A very special thank you to Ned, Liv, Annie and Alex and the whole family at DSA for allowing us to share a part of their lives with you. I am eternally grateful for your openness, hospitality and having me stay at your farm.

If you are interested in sharing and receiving some stoke head over to https://lnkd.in/gVzGbjr4 to find your local chapter.
